Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 136 So Transparent

Here's my entry for the So Transparent Challenge.  I have used a printed acetate for the front of the card and attached my image to a nesties.  The image is from Molly Bloom and is coloured with copics (I have listed the colours below).  The snowflake is an experiment.  The smaller snowflake is covered in Woodware 'Fluffy Stuff' and heated.  It looks a bit like snow?

Copics - Red R39,37 &35
               Green YG67 &63
               Yellow YR23 & Y23
               Brown E35 & E33
               Grey C1

See you soon.

Just Magnolia Challenge - Week 79

Welcome to the weekend which means a new Magnolia Challenge.  I have created this card based on Dawny's sketch.

The stamp is Snowie (I think from last years Magnolia Christmas collection) and the circular sentiment from Catslife Press.  The image is coloured with Copics (can't remember the colours).  I went a little OTT with the Stickles - still not sure about the poinsettia.

See you soon

Lets Get Punchy Challenge and Blog Candy

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge

I decided to enter this card in the A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge this week (no Christmas colours or stamps!).  The theme is lets get punchy.  The image is a Magnolia one but I can't remember its actual name.  I have coloured it with copic markers and used MS edger punch and butterfly.  The swirl punch is by EK success.

The flowers have been spritzed with glimmer mist and the swirls covered in Stickles.  You can't really see this fully in the photo.

Thanks for the lovely comments on my previous postings they are appreciated.

Blog Layout and Blog Candy

Although I haven't got a card to post today I thought I would do an update.  I think that I have managed to wade my way through blogger settings (and freebie add-on's) to customise my site.  Hopefully it looks better than the original plain background!  Just gotta sort out an auto-signature and a watermark for my picture then I'm done (I think).

Anyhow enough about my site - the other reason for posting is to let you know that Bev has another fab blog candy - this time it's pro-makers.  http://bevscrafts.blogspot.com/ Hop over there.

Bye for now

Snowman Christmas Card

The weekend is finally here and the chance to create another Christmas card.  Todays card is another Magnolia stamp - this time Snoowie the snowman.  Sorry can't remember the copic colours used.  The DP's are Adornit - Snowman Friends and Dovecraft  - Let It Snow.  The snowflakes are made with a MS punch.

I am entering this in the Just Magnolia 2 x 2 Challenge.  There are 2 different DP's, 2 columns, 2 stamped images, 2 snowflakes, etc.

I am also entering it in Allsorts Challenge Blog - Inspiration from a song title.  Of course it can only be Frosty the Snowman.

Additionally, it is entered in Cute Card Thursday Challenge - Make your own.

That's it for today.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

New Beginnings

After months of viewing other blogs I decided it was time to set up my own.  Hopefully I will be able to fully customise my page as time goes on - but for now it's quite plain and boring.

For my first post I thought I would share with you a Magnolia Tilda card that I made a short while ago.  I can't remember the copic colours used but they are quite summery.  I now seem to be considering reds, greens, silver, golds, etc, although I haven't got very far with my Christmas cards!

The papers are My Minds Eye, the border and butterfly punches MS and the flower Wild Orchid Crafts.

Have a good week - only two days to the weekend.
